Being at the school for a little under 5 years, I have noticed many things wrong about this school. The school fees and very overpriced and still charge you for things even if you don't use them (such as tutorials). The school does not spend enough money on things the school needs and the facilities are very old and lots are unusable. Lots of bathrooms are broken and disgusting and computers in the labs are not working. A problem my family and I have had for many years is when students are not at parent teacher interviews, some teachers take the chance of us not being there and lie about things we have not done. Many teachers cannot teach properly and are very biased and mean towards students and is very clear that they do in fact have favourites. If students complain absolutely nothing is done until a parent steps in. The rules are very harsh and they have unfair consequences. Many students are sick, stressed and tired of this school and many are leaving.
It used to be good. Now, it is here just to ruin dreams.
Great school with exceptional academic potential, diverse in culture. I had a great time at the Kilmore international school, could be stressful at times but it is worth it. Sporting is pretty average but oh well sacrifices are made.
Largely exceptional educational curriculum and staff. However, admin services, particularly in regards to financial matters, are thoroughly underwhelming and disappointing.
The school has implemented irrelevant rules like, not being able to study where we want, not being able to use electronic devices in our leisure time, which students are extremely unhappy about, and this negatively affects on students well-being, especially in the senior section. We are told to act like young adults, yet we are controlled like little children. However, from an educational perspective, the school is exceptional
